Edna Raber

Edna Raber, age 71, went home to be with the Lord on January 4, 2018. Born in Greentown, Ohio, Edna lived in the Hartville area all of her life and was an active member of Bethany Mennonite Church. Edna had an amazing heart and loved to serve others. One of her greatest joys in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, with whom she had an incredible gift of making each one feel special. Preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ada Sommers; brothers, Raymond, Melvin and Nelson Sommers; she is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Alfred; daughters, Naomi (Dan) Frey of Millersburg, Cindy Miller of Uniontown, Judy (Michael) McClintock of North Canton, Faith (Kerry) Sommers of Uniontown and Karen (Brett) Yoder of Wooster; grandchildren, Cody and Dawson Miller, Connor, Olivia and Reagan McClintock, Kadin, Brady and Landon Sommers, Corvin, Avery and Kenley Yoder; sister, Mary Ann Sommers of Uniontown; and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family will be received Monday, from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m., at Bethany Mennonite Church, 3497 Edison Street NE, Hartville, Ohio 44632. Funeral service will be Tuesday, 10 a.m., with a viewing from 9 to 9:30 a.m., at the church, with Pastor Matthew Zook officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
