Edna M. “Edie” Bolyard, age 43, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2018.
Born in Akron, she was a life resident of the area. Edie graduated from Springfield High School and was employed with Manor Care. Her hobbies included arts & crafts and swimming, and she enjoyed going to concerts and NHRA Summit Motor Sports Park. Edie loved family gatherings and had a gift for helping others.
Preceded in death by her father, Roy D. Bolyard Jr.; brothers, Roy D. Bolyard III and Randy A. Bolyard, she is survived by her companion of 18 years, Douglas L. Schindler; sons, David (Alicia) Bailey, Douglas L. Schindler Jr.; daughter, Kristen Bailey; grandchildren, Hayden, Trysten and Braxton; mother, Peggy Hoffman, brother, Richard K. Hardesty; sisters, Alicia (Rick) Kisner, Donna (Bob) Ledbetter and Sally Breedlove; many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
Cremation has taken place. We will be holding a Memorial Celebration of Life gathering at her home (963 Milo White Drive) on Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. to give ample time around busy schedules so that everyone can pay their respects.
