Edith M. Corl

Edith M. Corl (nee Calcei) RANDOLPH – Edith M. Corl, age 93, passed away December 2, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Italy to Francesco and Maria Calcei, she grew up in Mogadore and lived in Randolph most of her life. Edith was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening. She was a very active and dedicated volunteer for many years in her community. Edith was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed. Preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Frank; son-in-law, Gary Nicholas; and grandson, David Devine, she is survived by her sons, Frank (Renee) and Christopher; daughters, Carolyn Nicholas and Elaine (Ed) Wolfenbarger; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and brother, George B. (Nancy) Calcei. Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312 with Chaplain Lori Pugh officiating. Friends and family will be received one hour prior to the service, from 10 to 11 a.m. Private inurnment will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Randolph.
