Dorothy M. Hale

Dorothy M. Hale, 89, passed away March 17, 2012.

Born in Akron, she lived in the Mogadore/Suffield area all of her life.  Dorothy was employed as a registered nurse, working at Akron City Hospital, for Dr. Couch for ten years, and the Portage County Health Department for 20 years.  She was a member of Mogadore Christian Church.

Preceded in death by her husband, Albert E.; daughter, Mary; and son, Thomas, she is survived by sons, Greg (Sandy) of Brimfield, Loren of Columbus, and Dave (Margaret) of North Canton; 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and brother, Lawrence (Peg) Pamer of Suffield.

The family would like to give special thanks to Nicole and Mary for their special love and care with Dorothy.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, 10:30 a.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 34 S. Cleveland Ave., MOGADORE, OH 44260, with Pastor Elmer S. Johnson officiating.  Burial will take place at Hillside Memorial Park.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.  Memorials may be made in Dorothy’s name to Mogadore Christian Church, 106 S. Cleveland Ave., Mogadore, OH 44260.
