Dorothy R. Kleckner (Mealey)

Dorothy R. Kleckner (Mealey) Dorothy Kleckner passed away peacefully at the age of 96 on December 26, 2017 at Altercare in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. She retired from General Tire and was actively involved in the VFW Women’s Auxiliary District 8 for many years. Preceded in death by mother, Almina H. Mealey; brothers, Robert and Jerry Mealey; and son, Clarence Pander. She is survived by son, Clifford (Patricia) Pander; grandchildren, Michael Pander, Dianne Pander, John (Janet) Pander, Scott Pander; and five great-grandchildren. Family and friends will be received Saturday, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312. Private burial will be held at Hillside Memorial Park at the family’s convenience. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Airport VFW 8975 Auxiliary, 1649 Krumroy Road, Akron, OH 44306.
