Dorothy Barnes

Dorothy “Dottie” Barnes, age 83, went to be with her Lord and Savior May 24, 2012. 

A lifetime resident of Akron, Dorothy worked for many years at Firestone Tire, Goodyear Tire and the Humbard Ministry.  She was a member of the Chapel in Akron for many years. 

Preceded in death by her husband of 63 years and the love of her life, Kenneth; and precious daughter, Rebecca Cotrufo; she is survived by her loving daughter, Debbie (Jim) Rosinski; grandsons, Larry, Michael and Matthew; and son-in-law, Richard.

Funeral service Tuesday, 11 a.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd., Akron, Ohio 44312, with Pastor Steve Bucy officiating. Burial at Hillside Memorial Park.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Tuesday, from 10 to 11 a.m., at the funeral home. Should friends desire, memorial donations may be made to the Chapel in Akron, 135 Fir Hill, Akron, Ohio 44304.
