Doris M. Robinson

Doris M. Robinson, age 88, passed away March 30, 2014.

Born in Petersburg, Tenn., she moved to Akron in 1950, and lived most of her life in Mogadore. Doris was employed in the Food Service Dept. at Edwin Shaw Hospital for 11 years, and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth and Ed Hudson; son, Charles Blake Robinson; and seven siblings; Doris is survived by sons, Donald (Sue) Robinson of Green and Charles Rodney Robinson of Oconomowoc, Wis.; daughter, Elsie (Chris) Gallagher of Hartville; grandchildren, Kristen, Jeff, Kevin, Sarah, Matthew (Lizzy), Nick (Michelle), Anna, Ashley and Zack; and great-grandchildren, Mikaela, Nolan, Cash and Hunter. The family would like to thank the caring staff at Altercare of Hartville, especially Darla and Tracy, and Crossroads Hospice for their loving care of Doris.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. TODAY (Tuesday) at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 34 S. Cleveland Avenue (Route 532), MOGADORE, Ohio 44260, where funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. TODAY with Pastor Mike Sobitz officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
