Doris Maxwell

Doris Maxwell, 85, passed away on March 22, 2017. Doris was born on December 31, 1931 in Sand Fork, W.Va. to Rolla and Pauline Burk. She graduated from Glenville State College and retired as a kindergarten teacher from Springfield Local Schools. Doris was a member of Goodyear Heights Baptist Church. Doris was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Rusty and Harold; sister, Mary Frances; and daughter-in-law, Emilia. Doris leaves behind her loving husband, Bill, of 60 years of marriage; sons, William David IV (Kathy) of Akron and Daniel of Mogadore; daughter, Mary Ann (Jim) of Akron; grandsons, Daniel II (Rebecca) of Mogadore and Eric (Danielle) stationed in Germany; and great-granddaughters, Isabella and Rosalie. A special thanks to our friend, Holly for all her help and support. The family is having a private service.
