Doris M. Bailey, age 82, went home to be with the Lord on March 9, 2016. She was a life resident of Akron, and graduated from North High School. Doris was a member of New Horizons Christian Church, and was an avid bowler, winning many trophies.
Doris is survived by her husband of 60 years, Richard; daughter, Marie Rumpler; grandchildren, Steven and Stacy Bailey; brothers, Kenneth Hall and Jeff Hall; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be Saturday, 3 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312 with Verton T. Gardner officiating. Private burial has taken place at Hillside Memorial Park.
