Donna J. Simone

Donna J. Simone, age 75, passed away on November 7, 2022.

Donna was a great mom and a kind hearted, caring, and loyal sister, aunt, friend, and cat lover. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Born in Akron, she graduated from Central High School in 1965. She retired from Summit County as an Information Technology Specialist. Donna was a member of the Cadet-Ettes and enjoyed gardening, crafting, crossword puzzles, SHOPPING, bowling, and visiting Las Vegas. She loved spending time with her friends, rescuing stray cats, and visiting her three furry granddogs, Archer, Etta, and Zora.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Rosi and Margaret (Kirkpatrick) Simone, and brother, Richie Simone. She is survived by her daughters, Stacey Rege and Antoinette Rege; brother, Charles Simone; sisters, Virginia Scarberry (Paul) and Lucy Simone; and her cats, Augie, Jordan, and Alice.

Friends and family will be received Monday, November 14^th from 5 to 7 p.m. and Tuesday, November 15^th from 12 to 3 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44312.
