Donald Easterling

Donald Easterling, 34, of Akron, Ohio passed away April 27, 2016 at his home. He was passionate about medicine, active in his church (St. Matthew’s Parish), a huge Cleveland Cavaliers fan, and proud St. V-St. M alumnus. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Wylie Easterling; and grandfather, Donald Flynn. He is survived by his mother, Mary Easterling; siblings, Kathy (Dale) Schopper, Lauren Easterling and Michael (Casey) Easterling. He is also survived by nieces, Mary Schopper, Jo Schopper, Emry Easterling; and nephew, Noel Easterling, as well as many friends including special friend, Shannon Pucella. 

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 1 p.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church 2580 Berne Street, Akron, Ohio 44312 with Father Michael Williamson presiding. The family will receive friends at the church from 12 noon until service time. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to LifeBanc, 4775 Richmond Road, Cleveland, OH 44128.
