Dolores E. Sturdivant

"Reunited" Dolores E. Sturdivant, age 79, went home to be with the Lord on February 21, 2017. Born in Akron, she lived in the area most of her life and graduated from Springfield High School. Dolores was employed with Akron Children’s Hospital and enjoyed painting in her spare time. Preceded in death by her husband, Wallace; and grandson, Peter James Sturdivant, she is survived by sons, Clark (Mary) and Mark; daughters, Elizabeth, Lilli (Blane) and Mari (Jeff); grandchildren, Phil, Alex, Amber, Nicole, James and Eric; and great-grandchildren, Anneliese, Aeden, Samarha, Liliana, Dante and Benjamin. The family will receive friends Friday, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312. Private family graveside services will be held with Pastor Stephen Carney officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
