Dione M. Klein

Dione Klein passed away peacefully on Monday, February 12, 2024 in her home after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.

Dione was born August 11, 1963. She was a graduate of Ellet High School. She attended the University of Akron. Dione was employed by Prudential, Southern Living, and Summa Care, but her most important role in this life was that of a devoted and loving wife and mother. Dione was dedicated to her family and was an amazing friend to many. She enjoyed annual family vacations to Myrtle Beach, spending time with family and friends, decorating, entertaining, and going shopping. Christmas was Dione’s favorite holiday, and she kept the magic of Christmas alive better than anyone else.

Dione is survived by her loving husband and soul mate of 35 years Nik, and her children Ian (Megan) Klein, Alexis Klein, and her sister Kimberlee Crain. Dione is proceeded in death by her parents Charles and Janet Barnes.

The family would like to thank Dr Stephen Andrews and his staff, especially Megan Felcyn and Jaimee Rood, and the entire staff at Summa Infusion for their care.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes for contributions to be made in Dione’s memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a charity of your choice. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
