Together Again

Denver M. Adams, age 88, of Uniontown, Ohio, was made new in the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. He has been reunited with his wife, Edene Adams, who preceded him in death.

Denver is survived by his children, Faye (Mark) Grisez, Jeff (Melanie) Adams, Mary (Frank) Unick; grandchildren Sarah Grisez, Renee (Chris) Blasiole, Jaret Adams, Lindsay Unick, Lauren (Kevin) Weis, Jonathan Unick (Jenna Madeley) and great grandchildren Riley and Noah. He is also survived by his brother David Adams as well as many nieces, nephews.

He was preceded in death by his infant daughter Faye Lyn; parents, Slathiel and Glada Adams; brothers Howard, Wayne and Larry Adams.

Denver retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber after many years as a Lieutenant in the Security Division. He was also a volunteer with the Uniontown Police Department. He enjoyed tinkering in his garage, working on cars, playing his guitar and spending time with his family. Denver and Edene were devoted members of the Chapel in Marlboro where they lovingly served alongside family and many friends.

Services will be held Thursday, November 9 at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home in Uniontown. Visitation will begin at 12 noon with service following at 1:00pm officiated by Rev. Joel Cochran of The Chapel in Marlboro. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributions to the Chapel in Marlboro.
