Delilah J. Wagler

"Together Again" Delilah J. Wagler, age 58 of Canton, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 19, 2017. She was born in Canton, Ohio on May 4, 1958 to Jonas and Edna (Coblentz) Hershberger. Delilah married David E. Wagler on May 2, 1981 and his death on March 14, 2006 left her a widow for 11 years. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren, family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Rafael) Aguirre; four grandchildren, Cecilia, Alex, Marcos and Adrian Aguirre; her father, Jonas Hershberger; five sisters, Ruth (Leon) Troyer, Kathryn (Ron) Wagler, Barbara (Paul) Yoder, Mary (John) Mast and Marlene (David) Yoder; one brother, James (Iva) Hershberger; and brother-in-law, Mahlon (Emma) Coblentz; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Delilah was also preceded in death by her mother, Edna (Coblentz) Hershberger; one sister, Emma (Mahlon) Coblentz; one niece; two nephews; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Eli and Edith Wagler; brother-in-law, Melvin Wagler and sister-in-law, Mag Fitzgerald. Delilah will be greatly missed for all the love and laughter she shared with everyone around her. Funeral service will be Sunday, 1 p.m. at Community Christian Church, 210 N. Main Street, North Canton, OH 44720 with Rev. Sarah Taylor Peck officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday, from 4 to 7 p.m. and Sunday, from 12 noon to 1 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow the service Sunday at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
