Deborah L. Woods

Deborah L. Woods, age 58, passed away on July 27, 2015. 

Born on August 23, 1956 in Barstow, Calif. at the Camp Irwin Army Base, she lived in the Akron area most of her life and graduated from Manchester High School. Deborah was a loving wife and mother for 35 years, and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Akron. She enjoyed helping the needy and especially loved watching her granddaughter. 

Preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Geraldine (Demali) Pastorius, Deborah is survived by her husband, David A. Woods; children, David Woods II, Timothy Woods and Rebekah (Andrew) Ilg; grandchildren, Sarah and Michael Ilg; and sisters, Carol Justice and Sue Willis. 

Family and friends will be received Friday, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312, where funeral service will be held Saturday at 12 noon with Rev. Douglas Denton officiating. Interment will follow at East Akron Cemetery.
