David C. Smith

David C. Smith, 60 years, passed away April 21, 2013 after a lengthy illness.

David was born in Akron and resided in Uniontown most of his life. He retired from the family business, H. M. Miller Construction Company in 2008. During his retirement David enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He never found a Western movie he didn’t love. Formula One racing was also a favorite. David always enjoyed telling a good story of days gone by.

Preceded in death by his father, J.C. Smith; and brother, Michael Smith. David is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Sandra; daughters, Renee (Chris) Pavlik, Sherri Smith; grandchildren, Riley, David, Abigail and Chloe; mother, Bernadette; brothers, Steve (Mari Jane), Tom (Lanna), Pat (Sharon), John (Julie); sister-in-law, Debra; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday 10 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Parish, 2040 Diamond Street NE., Canton, Ohio 44721 with Father Edward Keck celebrating. Burial St. Joseph Cemetery.
