David L. Jones

David L. Jones “Whitey Jones AKA Uncle Ghetto”, 60, went home to be with his mom, dad, and sister on April 17, 2023.

David was born and raised in Akron. He had a huge heart and love for his family and friends, often doing all he could to help everyone around him. He was known for his love of cats, providing care and homes to an abundance of them through the years.

David was preceded in death by his parents, sister, and numerous family members. He is survived by his brothers, Jerry (Darlene) and Richard; lifelong partner, Terri; children, Tiffany, Cory (Katie), Cody, Jeffy; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends and family will be received Monday, April 24^th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron (Ellet), OH 44312. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. with burial to follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
