David L. Hollingsworth

David L. Hollingsworth, 78, passed away on February 23, 2025.
Born in Akron, he graduated from Mogadore High School and was a longtime resident of Stow. He served in the United States Army and retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber after 20+ years of employment. He was a member of the Corvette Club and enjoyed antiquing. He could often be found at local auctions and flea markets.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Royce and Susanna Hollingsworth. He is survived by his brother, Garry Hollingsworth.
Memorial service will be held Thursday, March 20th at 11 am at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44312. Interment will take place after the service at 12:45 pm at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. There will be no procession; anyone who would like to attend will meet at the entrance of the cemetery.

After the memorial, any one who would like to attend the graveside service is welcome to do so. We will be meeting at the cemetery after the service; there is NO procession from the funeral home to the cemetery.
