David W. "Dave" Bagen

David W. “Dave” Bagen, age 60, went home to be with the Lord on July 26, 2016. 

Born in Cleveland, he lived all of his life in the Cleveland and Akron areas. Dave served in the U.S. Army and retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Kent. He was a member of St. Matthew Parish and the Army Navy Garrison. Dave loved planting and doing landscaping around the house. 

Preceded in death by his parents, William and Lillian, he is survived by his wife of 24 years, Cathy; sisters, Patti (Dave) Brown and Janice (Tom) Santillo; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. 

Funeral service will be held Saturday, 1 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312 with Father Michael Williamson officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until service time on Saturday. Cremation will take place after the services.
