Daniel A. "Danny" Wilkinson

Daniel A. “Danny” Wilkinson, age 62, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 20, 2021. Waiting for him at Heaven’s Gate are his parents, Floyd and Doris Wilkinson. Left here to cherish his memories are brother, David (Debbie) Wilkinson; special friend, Becky Freeman; and many loving friends and relatives. Danny was born and lived in Akron, Ohio. He was a born again Christian and had a big heart. He loved Jesus, life, animals, music, and all of his friends. Danny loved the staff at Pleasantview Health Care and made many friends there. He will be missed dearly, but we know absent from the body, present with the Lord. Special thanks to Pleasantview Health Care and Summa Hospice Care. Friends and family will be received on Thursday, August 26 from 11 to 1 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. with Pastor Ernie Kemppel officiating. Danny’s final resting place will be at Hillside Memorial Park.
