Daniel S. Kolnik

Danny S. Kolnik, 72, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2014.

He was born in Akron, Ohio and was a graduate of Garfield High School, class of 1960. Danny retired from Summa Hospital in 2007. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and served in the U.S. Navy.

Preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Lydia Kolnik. He is survived by sisters, Jean Kolnik and Joyce (Ronald) Hoch; nephew, Adam Hoch; many cousins; and best friend, Ronald Brooks.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at St. John Lutheran Church, 550 East Wilbeth Road, Akron, Ohio 44301 with Pastor Mark Hanchett officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, Donations in Danny’s memory may be made to St. John Lutheran Church.
