Dale Ford Frick

Dale Ford Frick, age 63, went home to be with the Lord on November 12, 2017. Born in Akron, he was a lifetime area resident. Dale was employed with Linden Industries for 28 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching his son Glenn race at Barberton Speedway. Dale especially loved to spend time with his family. Preceded in death by his parents, Rolla and Janet Frick; granddaughter, Aurora Josephine Escobar; great granddaughter, Haven Carrie Bittner; and brother, David. Dale is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Karen; children, Dale (Peggy) Frick, Tim (Heather) Frick, Glenn (Ann) Alexander, John Bolyen, Nikita (Luis) Escobar and Thelma-Sue Smith; 22 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; brothers, Kenny, Lester, Danny, Carl and Rick; sisters, Barb, Marie and Gloria; many other family members and friends. Funeral service will be held Friday, 12 p.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312, with Pastor Linda Hoover officiating. Friends and family will be received Thursday, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., and on Friday, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon.
