Constance Gruic

Constance Gruic, 76, went home to be with the Lord and her husband on May 3, 2024.

Born in Akron, she was a resident of Lakemore. Connie enjoyed camping and word searches. She loved playing Rummy 500 with her husband and going to yard sales.

Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Nick Gruic Sr.; parents, Lloyd and Elizabeth Hennessey; and nephew, William Bunner. She is survived by her son, Nick Gruic; grandson, Mason Gruic; sisters, Cindy Blake (Earl) and Sherry Bunner; nephew, Richard Bunner; and many extended family members.

Family and friends will be received Friday, May 10^th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44312. Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 11^th at 11 a.m. Burial will take place Monday, May 13^th at 12 p.m. at Hillside Memorial Park.
