Cloyd G. “Butch” Wiggins, age 72, passed away on September 1, 2014 after a short illness.
Butch retired from U.P.S., and was a hardworking family man with a great sense of humor. He loved his cars and was a master of all trades. There was nothing he couldn’t accomplish and nothing he was afraid to try. Butch was extremely proud of his family and taught his kids and grandkids to live life to its fullest.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louise (Charlie) Bennington and Cloyd Sr. (Liz) Wiggins. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Mary, of 54 years; children, Darlene (Ed) Cikity, Daniel (Debbie) Wiggins, and Bonnie (Jeff) O’Donnell; eight grandchildren; three great-grandsons; his daily walking buddy, his dog, Connor; and many other family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale Street NW, UNIONTOWN, Ohio 44685 (one block NW of the square of 619 & Cleveland Ave.), where funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday with Father John Zapp officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the Kidney Foundation of Ohio, 2831 Prospect Ct., Cleveland, OH 44115.
