Cindy Borocki (nee Sparaco)

Cindy Borocki (nee Sparaco) Cindy Borocki, age 56, our darling angel fought a courageous battle beating cancer twice and succumbing to heart complications after surgery. Our angel is with our Lord and Saviour now, and will be sorely missed. She was born in Barberton and graduated from Kenmore High School in 1980, and then went on to attend the University of Akron. Cindy worked for FirstMerit bank for 33 years. She was very artistic and had a creative hand at scrapbooking and drawing. Cindy enjoyed spending time with her family, and was a loving wife and mother. She was a joy to be around and would extend her love to all those she met. Preceded in death by her parents, Fenton and Shirley Gordon; and mother-in-law, Patricia Borocki. Cindy is survived by her husband and best friend of 35 years, Greg; children, Matthew, Megan, Andrew and Cuddles; brother, Mickey (Melody) Gordon; sisters-in-law, Christine (Bill) Brennan, Jenny (Pete) Kern, Sandra Borocki, and Kathy (Jim) Hupp; brother-in-law, Louis Borocki; nieces & nephews, Tricia Ange, Katie Kern, Nicole Gordon, Patrick Carnahan, and Jason Carnahan. Cindy’s family would like to thank all of the doctors and nurses who have helped with her care over the last two years. Friends and family will be received Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale Street NW, UNIONTOWN, Ohio 44685 (one block NW of the square of 619 & Cleveland Ave.) A Memorial Service will be immediately following the visitation on Saturday, at 12 noon with Pastor Rick Serbin officiating.
