Charlotte Ann Salamon

Charlotte Ann Salamon, age 83, went home to be with the Lord on February 12, 2016.
Born in Dailey, W. Va. to Bert and Thelma Ash, she resided in the Akron area most of her life, and was a member of Graham Road Baptist Church. Charlotte was a homemaker, and her greatest love in life was spending time with her grandson, Alexander.
Preceded in death by her husband, William; and daughter, Lisa Cooke, she is survived by son and daughter-in-law, William and Catalina; and son, Charles Defibaugh; grandsons, Charles Defibaugh and Alexander Salamon; nephew, Terry Raines; and nieces, Beth Ann Cain and Tally Kesterson.
Graveside service and burial will take place Thursday, 1 p.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery, 100 E. Waterloo Road, Akron, Ohio 44319. The family suggests memorials to Westside Christian Academy, 23096 Center Ridge Road, Westlake, OH 44145.
