Charles R. "Bob" Egger

Charles R. “Bob” Egger, age 67, passed away on January 22, 2017 after a long illness. Born in Akron, he was a lifetime area resident and had worked as a machinist for many years. Bob was a member of the NRA and the Zeppelin Rifle Club. Preceded in death by his parents, Bruno and Pauline, he is survived by sister and brother-in-law, Valerie and Peter Reetz; nephew, Seth (Erin) Reetz; nieces, Erica Reetz and Kristen (Frank) Yanchak; cousins and friends. Memorial service will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2017 at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312 with his brother-in-law, Pastor Peter Reetz officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Cremation has taken place and private interment will be held at Hillside Memorial Park.
