Charles E. Cline Sr.

Charles E. Cline Sr., 88, passed away on May 31, 2024. 

He graduated from Central High School and was a long distance truck driver. Charlie was very interested in home renovation and proud to be the owner of the only spiral staircase on Boyd Avenue. He loved spending time with his family and is now reunited with his wife Linda who was the love of his life. 

Charlie was preceded in death by his wife, Linda; brother, Howard L. Cline Jr.; and nephews, Howard L. Cline III and Jeffrey Cline. He is survived by his children, Cynthia Cline Reschke, Charles E. Cline Jr. (Delina), William Howard Cline; grandchildren, Todd J. Reschke (Mika), Tracy Reschke Makan (Brian), Tyler Charles Reschke, Amanda Cline, Caity Cook (Daren), Clayton Cline; great grandchildren, Cohen, Oslo, and Loretta Cook, Rowan Lee, Christian and Amari Reschke, Dylan Makan. 

Family and friends will be received Thursday, July 11th from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44312. Interment will take place Friday, July 12th at 10 a.m. at Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association (heart.org).
