Chad D. Garn

Chad D. Garn, 54, was met in Heaven by his mother, father, and brother on August 9, 2024.

Born in Akron, graduated from Lake High School and lived in Hartville. He was employed with Olivieri Construction for 25 years and was a member of the Carpenters Union Local 285. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his Harley Davidson, and spending time with family and friends that were like family. 

Chad is survived by his sister, Sha and brother-in-law, Jeff; son Jake; nephew Gary Michael; as well as many other family members, all dearly loved. Chad will be remembered for his giant heart, tough exterior, hard-working mentality, and giving the best bear hugs. He will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

Family and friends will be received Tuesday, August 13th from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale St. NW, Uniontown, OH 44685. Funeral service will begin at 7 p.m. A committal service will be held Wednesday, August 14th at 10 a.m. at Hillside Memorial Park. Those attending can meet by the side gate located on Mahowburn Ave. After the committal, the family invites everyone back to the home of Billy and Terri VanCamp, 281 Bolender Rd. Mogadore, OH 44260.
