Caroline Kaye Luli (Sambuco)

Caroline Kaye Luli, age 48, went home to be with the Lord on April 16, 2014.

Born in Mt. Pleasant, Ohio, she lived in Suffield Twp. for the last 25 years. Caroline graduated from Buckeye West High School and the University of Akron. She was employed at Duma’s for many years, and was a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker for her family. Caroline loved shopping and talking, but most importantly she loved being with her family and friends. In her spare time, she enjoyed making and painting ceramics.

Preceded in death by her brother, David, whom she loved very much; paternal grandparents, Pap Julie and Grandma Julie Sambuco; maternal grandparents, Don and Marian Hamilton; niece, Christie Campbell; mother-in-law, Pauline Luli; and brother-in-law, “Boots” Kubat. She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Ed; son, Carl; daughter, Audrey; parents, Ed and Sandy Sambuco; brother, Eddie (Jackie); sister, Melanie Kubat; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Linda, Henry, Paul, Ruth, Betty, Bill, Aggie, Dan and Mike and their spouses; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and –nephews; and special dogs, Riley and Dolly.

The family will receive friends TODAY (Friday) from 3 to 8 p.m.; and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 34 S. Cleveland Avenue (Route 532), MOGADORE, Ohio 44260, where funeral service will be held Saturday at 12 noon with Pastor Brian Pursley officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, with committal service officiated by Father Thomas Acker, S.J. The family suggests memorials to the Caroline Luli Benevolent Fund at Key Bank, Hartville Branch, 870 W. Maple Street, Hartville, OH 44632.
