Carole Eisenhart passed away early Easter Sunday, April 1, 2018.
She will be missed by her children, Gayle Kimberly (Jeff), Michael Diener (Rhonda) and Kimberly Diener; stepchildren, Bryan Eisenhart (Jill) and Karen Smith (Roy). Carole was a wonderful grandmother to seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews as well as her extended family and dear friends, Barbara Rosler and family, and Grace Ladany.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jane Scheu; first husband, James Diener of 22 years; and second husband, David Eisenhart of 24 years.
A native of Buffalo, New York until 1976, Carole enjoyed her good wings, a beef on weck and grilled Buffalo dogs! She will be remembered for her infamous pineapple upside down cake and scalloped potatoes. She adored her grandchildren, trips to the beach and fishing with David. An avid reader, she was on a first name basis with the staff at Lake Twp. Library.
The family wishes to thank the entire staff at Altercare of Brimfield as well as Harbor Light Hospice for their extraordinary care, kindness and friendship.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service, officiated by Pastor Rob Stopp will be held at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale Street NW, UNIONTOWN, Ohio 44685 (one block NW of the square of 619 & Cleveland Avenue) on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 1 p.m. Calling hours will begin at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Haven of Rest, 175 East Market Street, Akron, OH 44308, or the charity of your choice.
