Carol Gresens (nee Edmiston)

Carol Gresens (nee Edmiston), age 67, passed away on January 11, 2016 surrounded by her family, after an extended illness. 

A life resident of Akron, she enjoyed working out of her home as a florist, and was also a bus driver for Springfield Township Schools. Carol was a member of Eastern Star Ellestar Chapter #565 and the Springfield Women’s Club. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. 

Preceded in death by her parents, George and Merrial Edmiston; and nephew, Jack Dustman, Carol is survived by her husband of 47 years, Henry; son, Henry (Heather); daughter, April (Greg) Morrison; grandchildren, Cassie, Christopher, Dakota, Maggie, Dustin and Sarah; sister, Louise (Thomas) Dustman; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Friends and family will be received Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron/Ellet, Ohio 44312, followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. with Rev. Richard W. Ferris officiating. Cremation will take place with private interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
