Carol J. Beightol

Carol J. (Thorn) Beightol, 76, of North Canton, Ohio, passed on to eternal life September 7, 2023 at St. Luke Lutheran Community following an extended illness.

Born December 26, 1946 in Akron, Ohio, she lived most of her life in the Akron area and was a 1965 graduate of Green High School. She was a stay at home mom taking care of her 4 Children.

In her final years, she lived for her Ipad and "The Facebook" and hated when "The Internet" went down. She loved her jewelry, her grandchildren, fried chicken, BINGO, and her Elvis impersonator videos on “The Facebook.”

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles "Chuck" in 2006 and her parents James and Evelyn. She is survived by her children Tammy Brothers (Bob Stevens), William (Jessica), Veronika (Tim) White, and Jennifer (LaWayne Jr.) Smith; grandchildren, Austin, Nick, LaWayne III "Trey", Lucas, Jaxon, Avery and Caden; brother Jimmy (Karen), sisters Barbara (Randy) Burtnett, Shelley Thorn; numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received Wednesday, September 13^th from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Hopkins Lawver UNIONTOWN Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale Street NW (one block NW of the square of 619 & Cleveland Avenue), Uniontown, Ohio 44685. A funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. with Pastor Gordon Hayberg officiating. Burial to follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
