Brian William Ruark, 41 of Akron went to be with the Lord Saturday, July 16th 2016, surrounded by family and friends. He will be gracefully reunited with his mother, Colleen Bradley in heaven. Born in Akron, Ohio,
Brian held various jobs including General Tire, landscaping, manufacturing and carpentry. He was currently employed as a technician at Advanced Poly-Packaging were he built complex packaging machines. Brian enjoyed R/C cars, mechanics, art and riding bikes. He was known for his ability to fix just about anything. Most of all, Brian will be remembered for his passion in music and playing bass guitar with his brothers at Methelene and Minute To Midnight.
Survived by his brother, Robert; and sister, Chris and brother in-law, Brian Rentz; aunt and uncle, Sandy and Gene McGuinness; cousins, Michelle Bradley, Daniel, Brenton, Blake Clowser, Greg McGuinness, Nick Bradley; and his nephew and nieces, Cody, Kat and Emily.
We welcome friends and family to come celebrate his life from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, July 21 at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road Akron, Ohio 44312 where a memorial service will follow at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help defray funeral expenses.
