Brenda J. Sacratini

Brenda J. Sacratini, age 70, went home to be with the Lord on January 29, 2017. Born in Altoona, Pa., she grew up in Six Mile Run, Pa. before moving to Akron in 1967. Brenda retired from Bridgestone/Firestone after 37 years of service. She was active in the Methodist Church in Six Mile Run, and was a dedicated member of Firestone Park Christian Church in Akron. Brenda enjoyed golf, attending local theatres, movies, traveling, casino trips and working in her yard. Preceded in death by her parents, Quarine and Wilda Sacratini, she is survived by her brother, Gary (Deloris) Sacratini of Kentucky; niece, Lindsey Sacratini Jones (Clay) of Kentucky; nephew, Eric; special friends, Nancy Hoskins, Frank and Kathy Walker, Donna Haury; and numerous other friends. Funeral service will be held Wednesday (TODAY), 6 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312 with Pastor Rich Ferris officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday (TODAY) prior to the service. Burial will take place in Six Mile Run, Pa.
