Bonnie L. Susong

Bonnie L. Susong, 72, passed away on February 14, 2019. Bonnie was born in Akron, Ohio and also lived in Cleveland, Ohio for many, many years. She was a graduate of Akron University. Bonnie worked at Akron General Medical Center for 29 years followed by 15 years at University Hospital as a Medical Transcriptionist Supervisor. She had a passionate love for Cleveland sports teams and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Bonnie was preceded in death by her father, Charles Edwin “Eddie” Susong; and mother, Elizabeth “Betty” (Lewis) Susong. She is survived by her brother, John E. Susong; niece, Tracey Susong; nephew, Doug (Chelsea) Susong; great niece, Madison; great nephews, Luke and Bryce; as well as many dearly loved friends whom she considered family. Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 4, 2019, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5th at Hillside Memorial Park, 1025 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44312.
