Betty Lou Keel, 96, of Trenton, Tennessee died on Saturday, October 23, 2021. She was born on July 23, 1925, in Akron, Ohio. She married the love of her life Robert Keel and was a homemaker. She loved to cook her famous sourdough bread and sour cream sugar cookies. She enjoyed her cat Charlie, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. In 2000, Betty moved to Trenton, Tennessee and remained there until she went to join her Heavenly Father.
Survivors include her two sons, John Keel (Faye) of Trenton, Tenn. and Jerry Keel (Teri) of Parrish, Fla.; one sister-in-law, Betty Keel of Talmadge, Ohio; nine grandchildren, Mark Keel (Maria) of Tacoma, Wash., Betsy Keel Patterson (Lee) of Prince George, Va., Jason Keel (Natasha) N. Canton, Ohio, Adam Keel (Jaime) of Dublin, Ohio, Lauren Keel of Parrish, Fla., Matt Keel of Parrish, Fla., Kelly Redden (Shane) of Tenn., Todd Lewis of Trenton, Tenn., and Jeff Lewis (Lesa) of Decaturville, Tenn.; 23 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Grace Pickering Eichmiller; her husband, Robert Keel; sister, Eula Kroll; brother-in-law Richard Keel; and granddaughter, Angela Lewis.
A private service has been held by the family. Internment has taken place at Hillside Memorial Park in Akron, Ohio
