Betty L. Jarvis (nee Turney)

Betty L. Jarvis was called home on November 3, 2014.

She was an Akron resident for 68 years, and was retired from the Akron Public Utilities Bureau (Water Department). Betty is survived by her daughters, Catherine Flaughers, Diane Conley, Sue Lewis, Marilyn Bolt, Joyce Jarvis; and son, Roy Thomas Jarvis.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron, Ohio 44312, where funeral service will be held Thursday, 10 a.m., with Pastor Dave Bogue officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to missions at Arlington Memorial Baptist Church, 2330 E. Market Street, Akron, Ohio 44312.
