Betty Ann Franks (nee Sutton)

Betty Ann Franks, age 86, passed away on December 2, 2016. Born in Wyoming, she lived most of her life in the Akron area and graduated from East High School. Betty enjoyed quilting, antiquing, collecting glassware and gardening. She was an avid Cleveland Indians fan. Preceded in death by husband, Herb; and sister, Alice Stanley, she is survived by her children, Linda (Jeff) Heavner, Ed (Dotti) Franks and Janet Tomasik; grandchildren, Daniel Heavner, Laura Heavner, Emily (Trent) Lindley, Ellen Franks, Don (Melissa) Tomasik, Cathy (Greg) McDonnell, Stephen Tomasik and David (Nan) Tomasik; many great-grandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren; sisters, Helen Sutton and Lineta Messina; and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family will be received Tuesday, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312, where Funeral service will take place Tuesday at 7 p.m. with Pastor Brian T.
