Betty Dieringer, age 81, passed away September 13, 2017.
Born in Akron, Betty lived in Uniontown most of her life. She loved puzzles, traveling and watching the Cleveland Cavaliers, especially LeBron James.
Preceded in death by her brother, Frank Homan; and nephew, Frankie; she is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Dick; children, Susan (Bryan) Bokoski, Sandy (Ralph) Kennedy and Rick (Holly) Dieringer; eight grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Monday, 12 noon, at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale Street NW, UNIONTOWN, Ohio 44685 (one block NW of the square of 619 & Cleveland Ave.). Friends and family will be received Monday, prior to the service, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron.
