Betty L. Borror

Betty L. Borror, age 86, passed away March 25, 2013.

Betty was born in Nutter Fort, W. Va., and lived in the Akron area most of her life. She was a member of Springfield Fellowship Church. Preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Pauline Borror; and sisters, Emma Jean and Irene, she is survived by sister, Evelyn Drummond of Stow; brother, Richard (Bonnie) of Arizona; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Susie. Betty’s family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff of McKinley Health Care Center for their loving care.

Friends may call Thursday from 2 to 3 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron, OH 44312, where a funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. with Rev. O. Homer Burket officiating. Burial will take place at Stonewall Memorial Park in Stonewood, W. Va. Memorials may be made in Betty’s name to The Philomatheon Society of the Blind, 2701 West Tuscarawas Street, Canton, OH 44708.
