Betty J. Backus

Betty J. Backus, 86, passed away June 5, 2012.

Born in Akron, she lived in the area all of her life.

Preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Donald in 2009; and brother, Clell Smith, Betty is survived by son, Donald (Cheryl); daughter, Vickie (Kenneth) Conant; grandchildren, Kelly Hurd, Stacey (Pete) Gardner, Angela (Barry) Pruitt, and Aaron (Emily) Conant; and eight great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held June 7th, 6 p.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 34 S. Cleveland Ave., MOGADORE 44260, with Pastor Andrew S.
