Beatrice P. King

Beatrice P. King, age 99, went home to be with the Lord on October 11, 2013.

She was born in Canton, lived her entire adult life in the Akron area where she was a member of Oak Hill Presbyterian Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Edward W. in 1971; and three siblings. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Ed (Donna) King of Akron; daughters, Nancy (James) Adams of Alexandria, VA, Lois (Douglas) Roy of Manassas, VA; granddaughter, Abigail Adams (Stuart Lilie); great granddaughter, Matilda Beatrice; and three step grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 10:30 a.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44312 with Pastor Brian Nutt officiating. Burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Cuyahoga Falls. Friends may call TODAY (Monday), from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to the Deacon Fund in care of Oak Hill Presbyterian Church, 2406 Ardwell Ave., Akron, Ohio 44312.
