Barbara Ann Davis

Barbara Ann Davis, 70, passed away April 13, 2014 at her home.

She was born in Akron and was a life resident of Lakemore. Barbara was employed with McDonald’s for 18 years and also Taco Bell for 7 years. Preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Richard; and daughter, Sandra Jones; and sisters,Romona Jean Folks, Mona Jenkins and Sandra Wagner. She is survived by sons, Gerald (Darlene McCann) Jones, David (Terri Bickler) Jones, and Richard Davis Jr.; grandchildren Jerry (Brooke) Helwig, Jessica (Justin) Brooks, Logan Davis, Tiffany Jordan, Jeff, Cody, and Cory Bickler; great grandchildren, Elijah, Gerald, John, and Peyton Helwig, Alyssa Brooks; many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Hospice of Summa and the Cooper Cancer Center for their loving care.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Tuesday and 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44312, where the funeral service will be held Thursday 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
