Arthur “Art” Olefir of Akron, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly in Hollywood, Florida on Sunday, May 4, 2014.
Arthur graduated from Firestone High School, received a B.A. from Kent State University and was a talented musician. He was the founder of Global Behavioral Health Solutions, LLC of Florida. Arthur loved life, family, animals, and most of all, his friends and children. He devoted his life to helping disadvantaged children.
Arthur is survived by parents, Elizabeth and Daniel Guesman of Laguna Beach, Calif.; grandmother, Polina Mogilevskaya of Laguna Beach, Calif.; sister, Irina Bauch and family of Tallmadge, Ohio; and uncle, Henry Mogilevskiy and family of Fort Myers Fla.
Funeral service Friday, May 16th, 1 p.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44312, with Pastor Jim Roma officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday, from 12 to 1 p.m., at the funeral home. Arthur will be laid to rest with his grandfather at Mt. Peace Cemetery in Akron, Ohio.
