Annabell Poe, age 81, died unexpectedly on January 5, 2023. Her family is deeply saddened by her sudden death.
Annabell was born in Richwood, WV on September 30, 1941. She lived her entire adult life in the Akron-Uniontown area and retired in May 2014 from T.R. Price (otherwise known as Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems).
Annabell treated everyone as a family member, most often calling you “Sis”, her favorite nickname for all the women that surrounded her in life. She was a good, loving person and everyone who met her will always remember her kindness and laughter. She was completely devoted to all of her family and was more worried about everyone else than herself. She will be greatly missed by everyone who ever knew her.
Annabell is survived by her faithful companion and beloved dog, Willow: sisters, Garnett (Kenneth) Williams, Rosalea Spencer, Neva (Eddie) Stover, Annalea (Jerry) Goodheart; stepchildren, Kelly (Poe) Kleckner, Eric W. Poe, and Brandon L. Poe. Her memory lives on with all her numerous nieces, nephews, and all of her step grandchildren.
Annabell was preceded in death by her parents, John and Nellie Carden; husband, William “Bill” Poe; stepson, Shawn Poe; brothers, Eugene Carden, John Carden, Kennis Carden, William “Bill” Carden; and sister, Geneva Carden.
