Annabel Deaton

Annabel Deaton, 88, loving wife of 65 years to the late Marvin Dale Deaton; devoted mother of Mark and Dawn (Fogle); joyful grandmother of Patrick and Hannah (Miller). Annabel was extremely proud to be the wife of a 25-year Marine Corps veteran and relished the travel and experiences that brought. She was also proud of her service as an executive assistant at Akron City Hospital (now Summa Health) and as secretary to the Episcopal Bishop of Okinawa. She remained close to college “girl friends” for 70 years in the Little Guild. Visitation Wednesday, March 1, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron. Burial services at 1:45 p.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville.
