Anna M. Knecht

Anna M. Knecht, age 103, passed away June 19, 2013.

Born in Keyser’s Ridge, Md., she lived most of her life in the Akron area, where she was employed for years and was a member of Eastern Star. Preceded in death by husband, Bernard Michael; and son, John James, she is survived by daughters, Betty Weakland and Margaret “Peggy” Davis; grandchildren, Brian, Stuart, Paul and PShannon; great-grandchildren, Michelle, Kristin, Hannah, Sarah, Shauna, Aaron and Brianna; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Saturday, 11 a.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44312, with Rev. Richard W. Ferris officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday. Graveside services and burial will take place Saturday, 4 p.m., at Grantsville Cemetery in Grantsville, Md.
