Anita Burton

Anita Burton, age 88, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Born in Akron, she lived a majority of her life in Suffield. She was employed at Monarch Rubber and later as a cook at Field High School. Anita enjoyed knitting, reading, and boating with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be missed greatly by all that knew her. Anita was preceded in death by her husband, Edward L. Burton; sons, Edward L. Jr. (Glenda), Jeffery Lee (Lena), and Mark Steven. She is survived by her sons, Robert A. (Cindy), Gregory Wahcondah (Brenda), Philip Thomas (Laurie); grandchildren, Mindamonya, Aaron, Matthew, Nathan, Daniel, Anita, Victoria, Natasha, Adelaide, Adam, Rochell, Wayne; and great-grandchildren, Payton, Elliana, Lucas, Troy, Mallory, Grady, Stella, Ashton, Johnny, and Dominic. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Suffield United Church of Christ, 1115 State Route 43, Mogadore, OH 44260 (get.tithe.ly) Friends and family will be received on Saturday, September 25th from 2 to 3 p.m. at Suffield United Church of Christ, 1115 State Route 43, Mogadore, OH 44260, with a funeral service taking place at 3 p.m. A meal will be held immediately following the service at the church.
